1 Year Free Broadband Giveaway – Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
1.1 The Switcheroo Year of Free Broadband Giveaway (“Competition”) is organised by switcheroo.co.uk, the (“Organiser”).
1.2 By participating in this competition, participants (“Entrants”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
2.2 Employees, agents, and affiliates of the Organiser, their immediate family members, and persons living in the same household are not eligible to participate.
3. Competition Period
3.1 The Competition begins on Friday 17th May 2024 and ends on Monday 26th August 2024 (“Competition Period”).
3.2 Entries received outside the Competition Period will not be considered.
4. How to Enter
4.1 To enter the Competition, Entrants must complete the following steps:
- 4.1.1 Use Switcheroo to compare a utility or service through our website.
- 4.1.1 Post a review of your experience with Switcheroo through: www.switcheroo.co.uk/reviews/.
- 4.1.2 Follow Switcheroo on at least one of the following social media platforms; Facebook or Instagram.
4.2 Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
5. Prize
5.1 One (1) winner will be selected to receive a year’s free broadband service.
5.2 The prize includes the cost of standard broadband service for 12-18 months (whichever has a shorter minimum term). Any additional costs, including premium services, are the responsibility of the winner.
5.3 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or other alternatives.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
6.1 The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period.
6.2 The winner will be notified via the email address provided during the quote and/or through social media within fourteen (14) days after the end of the Competition Period.
6.3 The winner must respond to the notification within seven (7) days to claim the prize. Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected.
7. Publicity
7.1 By entering the Competition, Entrants agree to the use of their name, likeness, and review content for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
7.2 The winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity activities related to the Competition as requested by the Organiser.
8. Data Protection
8.1 Entrants’ personal data will be collected and processed in accordance with the Organisers privacy policy – www.switcheroo.co.uk/privacy-policy/.
8.2 Personal data will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Competition and contacting the winner.
9. General Conditions
9.1 The Organiser reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Competition at any time without prior notice.
9.2 The Organiser is not responsible for any technical issues, including but not limited to network, hardware, or software failures, that may affect participation in the Competition.
9.3 The Organisers decisions regarding the Competition are final and binding.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 The Organiser is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury of any kind resulting from participation in the Competition or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
10.2 The Organiser makes no representations or warranties of any kind concerning the prize, except for those required by law.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
11.2 Any disputes arising from or in connection with the Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
